Turns out "Elizabethan Collars" are completely useless when used on the oddly elongated whippet, within a day it became a chew toy and caused a bit of indigestion.

Dogs in elizabethan collars may be the only universal example of universal sympathy. Poor guy.
is it awful that i think sad dogs are so cute? especially sad whippets. ok, i'm evil.
there's a reason puppies are so cute, otherwise I don't think they would make it to adulthood. "Survival of the cutest" - Darwin must have written about it somewhere...

Bumpy is acornless as well. and he loves to roll in poop. I hope Jay doesnt catch on to that fad.
